Connecting…

    Breaks and floor coverage

Cinthia owns the grid. Never more than two down at once, photo never unstaffed, no full breaks in P1 peaks, meals in pairs. Kevin eats at the station.

    Edit desk · Tania

    Mornings6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    Afternoons2:00 PM onward, as needed

Times are a guide, not a cage: Tania flexes around baby check-ins between shifts. Her lane is project management on the MGM edits: tracking deliverables in Timeliner, chasing editor blockers to Alan, confirming the 8:00 AM handoff landed, and keeping the delivered ledger honest.

    Camera letter map

Kevin keeps this current. Rigs stay married all week: a letter always means the same body, glass, and shooter.

    Naming

Event code LO. Cameras by letter, never by name: LO_D2_CAMA_C03 reads Lights Out, day 2, Camera A, card 3. Day folders D1–D4, each holding CARDS · SELECTS · PROXIES · EXPORTS.

    Cutoffs

All dayCards to Kevin at every natural break. Voice your keeper file numbers into the chat.
10:00 PMSelects and proxies in the queue. Wednesday runs modified: sessions 6 PM, gala rolling, final 12:30 AM.
6:00 AMCuts to Cinthia; backup editor takes any dark cut.
8:00 AMQC'd recap to PHP show ops. Sessions at 9:00.

    Card board

Tap a status to cycle: IN CAMERA → WITH KEVIN → VERIFIED ×2 → CLEARED. The dump time stamps itself the moment a card goes WITH KEVIN and clears when the card cycles back into a camera. Only Kevin touches the bins at the station.

The printed station log remains the record: card number, time dumped, who carried it. This board is the live view, not the authority.

    Capture standards

RigsBodies and lenses stay married. Swap whole rigs at a break, cleared by Cinthia. No lens changes mid-floor.
ISOBase ISO only (800 / 2500 on the S-Log Sonys). Never auto.
ProfileS-Log3 on Sonys, Log on Komodo, no baked looks. 4K everywhere; locked-off sticks at half bitrate.
WBLocked per room at stand-up. Evo Plus app reads a room if unsure.
AudioF3 runs the whole session in 32-bit float, untouched to day end. H6n Pro is the pull unit. Camera track always rolling; Rode is the last resort.
VerticalsShoot with 9:16 in mind; reels are sold, not a crop afterthought.

The goal is positioning, not activity: make it obvious Visionx belongs in this room. Lights Out is a week-long content bank if we shoot for it on purpose. BTS of the team is ours under documentation rights.

    Today's BTS capture

Reference · content strategy for MGM

    1 · Quick attention

Professional quick-hit openers: a rush on the eyes for the fast like, and it brings the viewer back for the next post so they can eat the value.

    Example 1Example 2
    2 · Actual value

Real, usable takeaways. This is the credibility every other format leans on.

    Example 1Example 2
    3 · Client testimonials

Word of mouth at scale: never "buy from me," always "buy from them," backed by the credibility format 2 builds.

    Example 1Example 2
    4 · Carousels

Two lanes: value-driven, and photo BTS, fillers but quality.

    Value drivenPhoto BTS
5 · Experimental, fun quick attention

Cool on the eyes and great for introducing the team; no actionable context, so it runs as seasoning, not the meal.

    The venue

LAS VEGAS BLVD · MAIN ENTRANCE CASINO FLOOR HOTEL LOBBY STUDIO WALK GARDEN ARENA Wed sessions · Gala Awards dock / back of house · confirm CONFERENCE CENTER L3 · breakouts L2 · meeting rooms L1 · ballrooms · registration PARKING GARAGE POOL COMPLEX Schematic, not to scale · exact rooms and doors confirmed at the Aug 2 walk

Getting around: from the hotel lobby, Studio Walk runs east through the casino straight to the Garden Arena. The Conference Center sits beside the arena with its own lobby corridor access, escalators stacking three levels, ballrooms and registration on Level 1, and the parking garage against its east side. The pool complex backs the Conference Center. Load-in doors, dock access, and the sky deck route get confirmed on the Aug 2 venue walk.

    Where things live

Wednesday's sessions and the Gala run in the Garden Arena. Everything else gets its exact room at the Aug 2 walk: fill it here once and everyone has it.

    The nightly handshake

10:00 PMThe pool lands: selects by camera letter, shooter select lists from the chat, Cinthia's flags, Kevin's tiered soundbites. Wednesday runs modified: sessions 6 PM, gala rolling, final 12:30 AM.
OvernightThe night's owner cuts the recap; reels run alongside per the rotation. Music from the cleared bank, nowhere else.
6:00 AMCuts to Cinthia. The reassignment line: a dark cut goes to the backup, no discussion.
8:00 AMCinthia QC, then to PHP show ops for the screens.
MorningNotes back to the floor: shaky, missing, gold. The remote desk calls the day's best shot; that call pays the bonus.
Routine talk lives on the crew thread. A blocker at 2 AM goes straight to Alan's line, any hour; a late recap costs more than a woken founder.

    The edit formula

1 · Open on energyThree to five seconds of arrival, crowd, or arena wide
2 · Anchor soundbiteOne tier-one line that names the day
3 · BuildStage and reactions alternating, wide and tight, two-to-four-second cuts on the music
4 · PeakThe day's biggest moment, given room to breathe
5 · CloseWide or brand lockup, a final tier-one line or a clean music button

The multiplication rule: the recap tells the whole day; a reel tells one moment. Same night, adjacent takes, never the same clips unless the crop or the beat makes it read new. Claim what you use on the night sheet so two edits never lean on the same hero shot blind.

    Style desk: Axel and Ezequiel

Axel and Ezequiel set the look and hold it. Monday night they publish the reference: a thirty-second style cut plus a one-page spec (LUT and conform, titles, pacing bands, mix, closing lockup). Every cut matches the reference before Cinthia sees it. Oliver cuts to spec; deviations go through the desk, not around it. Ezequiel holds the desk while Axel is inside the PJ film. Ten minutes after morning delivery, the desk posts what changes tonight.

Tre is the dedicated shooter, Sunday through Thursday. First cuts inside 7 days, full delivery inside 21; raw of his segments on request.

Ellis Suazo · Wealth Academy · Headliner

Half paid; balance clears before doors open. Sunday coverage is off. Priority editing applies.

    Cesar · VIP

Oz is closing confirmation and payment. Nothing shoots until it locks.

In the pipe with Oz: Zamilah's team is in, tier landing; Cindy Cobos is scoping an offsite shoot day, a Monday-night suite party, and a Tuesday team huddle. Oz runs last call before doors; scopes lock with him, not on the floor.
Checked means delivered, shared with everyone. The full pipeline still lives in Timeliner, mirrored on the Editors tab.
